Features Guide: How to Use Core DKP

Core DKP is a complete platform for MMORPG guild management. This guide introduces each feature and how to use it in your guild's daily operations.

Panel Overview

After logging in and accessing your guild, you'll see the admin panel with these sections:

  • Dashboard — overview, charts and statistics
  • Members — member list, roles, DKP and classes
  • Parties (CPs) — groups led by GP Leaders
  • Raids — raid logging and DKP distribution
  • Loot — distributed items and history
  • Auctions — bidding system for items
  • Activity — action history
  • Invites — links for new members
  • Settings — guild, Discord, DKP and permissions

Members

Managing Members

In the Members tab you can:

  • View all members of the guild with name, role, DKP and class
  • Manually adjust DKP — Guild Master and Officers can add or remove points with a reason
  • Change roles — only Guild Master can promote/demote (Member, Officer, GP Leader, Guild Master)
  • Set class — Tank, Healer, Dagger, Archer, Mage, Support, DPS
  • Remove members — Officers remove Members; Guild Master removes Officers

GP Leader and Roles

  • Guild Master — full guild control
  • Officer — can manage raids, loot, auctions and members (except changing roles)
  • GP Leader — leader of a Party (CP); can manage their party and approve character updates
  • Member — regular member

Important: To assign GP Leader to someone, first designate them as leader of a party in the Parties section.

Entry Requests

New members who use an invite link appear in Pending Requests. Guild Master or Officer can approve or reject, setting the initial role (Member or Officer).

Parties (CPs)

Parties are groups within the guild, each led by a GP Leader.

Create a Party

  1. Go to Parties
  2. Click "New Party"
  3. Enter the name (e.g., "Party Alpha")
  4. Optionally select a member as GP Leader
  5. Click "Create"

Managing Parties

  • Change leader — use the dropdown next to the leader's name to assign another member
  • Add members — select a member without a party from the party's dropdown
  • Remove members — click "Remove" next to the member

The party leader automatically receives the GP Leader role and can access the Party Dashboard to invite members and approve character updates.

Raids

Create a Raid

  1. Go to Raids
  2. Click "Create Raid"
  3. Set name, date and add bosses
  4. Select participants
  5. Mark defeated bosses
  6. Finalize to distribute DKP

DKP Distribution

DKP is calculated automatically based on:

  • Participation — value for participating in the raid (configurable)
  • Boss killed — value per boss (configurable)
  • Punctuality bonus — for those who arrived on time
  • AFK penalty — for those who were absent

Loot

In the Loot tab you record distributed items:

  • Add items with name, rarity, slot and boss
  • Associate with the winner (member who won)
  • DKP cost is automatically debited
  • Items can go to Auction if not distributed directly

Auctions

The auction system allows members to bid on items with DKP:

  1. A Loot item can be placed in auction
  2. Members place bids (highest bid wins)
  3. When the auction ends, the winner is set and DKP is debited

Settings

Guild Information

  • Name, server, region, faction
  • Party member limit — how many members each party can have (Professional plan)

DKP

  • Participation, boss, bonus and penalty values
  • Decay — periodic point reduction to avoid excessive accumulation
  • Starting DKP — points new members receive

Notifications

  • Raid reminders
  • DKP changes
  • Loot distribution
  • Auction alerts
  • Weekly reports

Permissions

Define who can:

  • Manage raids
  • Distribute loot
  • Adjust DKP
  • Create auctions
  • View history

Options: Guild Master, Officers or All.

Plans: Starter vs Professional

  • Starter — up to 25 members, basic DKP, no parties
  • Professional — up to 100 members, parties (CPs), GP Leaders, Discord integration, advanced analytics

Quick Tips

  1. Use Discord — connect your server to import members and receive notifications
  2. Configure decay — prevent veterans from accumulating infinite DKP
  3. Organize in parties — GP Leaders help decentralize management
  4. Approve requests quickly — respond to candidates so you don't lose recruits
